This is the only gel I use for edges. You should use a tiny bit of water or hair oil in your hand when applying. It helps it to set better. Make sure no to apply too much in one space or it will show a white film.

Thick. heavy. No flakes. Works great on 4c hair. Pleasant scent. No complaints.
